Does the JIA-91B support HDX tags?
No. The confirmed supported formats for this model are EMID and FDX-B. If HDX compatibility is required, a reader specifically supporting HDX should be selected.
Can it read both glass microchips and electronic ear tags?
Yes. The JIA-91B supports compatible implanted glass transponders as well as larger electronic animal ear tags.
Does the reader display animal or owner information?
The reader retrieves the electronic tag identification number. Animal, owner, breeding, or health information is normally stored in separate registration or livestock-management software.
