Bluetooth and Data Handling
The JIA-90A supports both real-time data entry and offline ID collection.
With Bluetooth 5.0, scanned IDs can be sent to the active cursor position on a compatible phone, tablet, or computer using keyboard-style output.
When a connected device is not available, the reader can store up to 1,000 IDs internally and transfer them later through the USB Type-C connection.
This supports two practical workflows:
- scan and transfer dog microchip IDs in real time through Bluetooth;
- collect IDs during fieldwork and export them later.
